About Me (and a blurb about everyone else)

Hey! It's Ava!

First...

 A little bit about me;

1. Blue is my FAVORITE colour!

2. I'm a Junior in high school

3. I have the best friend group (no arguments)

4. I have 3 amazing younger sisters (who can also get on my nerves)

5. I am obsessed with all things literature, art, music, and caffeinated. I also love the outdoors. I mean, you can't not when you live in Washington State. (Hey, Colorado may have peaks but we have mountains and volcanoes)

    Between Friends came out of mainly my extreme love for aesthetics. I can't tell you how much I get told I say that word too much. 

     Aesthetics for me are just doors to thousands of new worlds. Little nooks and. crannies, or entire planets I can escape to. I especially enjoy them when I have a specific book and mind and there is a whole aesthetic community surrounding them. Aesthetics are a useful tool to dive even deeper into your favorite books and series! 

     Between Freinds is also a collaboration with my best friend Rylie and several other friends that may join in the future. The other point of creating the blog was so I could connect with friends over things I love doing. Writing, mood boards, playlists, art, and ambiance, anyone? 

     My main theme and mantra are, just taking time to step back and be absorbed by a new world for a while. ours can be traumatic chaos at times and, in my opinion, escapism can be healthy in small doses. This is also a community to share inspiration and motivation for all things beautiful.

Stop scrolling through TikTok mindlessly and instead dive mindlessly into the one giant mood board called Between Friends
